“We recently went through our yearly Worker’s Comp audit. As you know, we have multiple WC codes with and without USL&H rates. In the past, the audit process has been extremely time consuming – the auditor goes through multiple spreadsheets outlining the wages under each WC code. Starting last February, FPS began utilizing the WC features in Payroll Partners by defining the numbers of hours worked by each employee as USL&H hours vs non-USHL&H hours at the point of entry each payroll. This allowed us to run one report showing each employee’s earnings for each WC code for the entire year.

The auditor was very impressed by the reports we were able to produce through Payroll Partners. She even asked who our payroll company was because she had never seen the reports we were able to generate and said they all tied out “to the penny.” She also said that in the future, the entire audit process could be done without coming to our facility.
